Meet the dynamic dog-loving duo behind our brand - Carmen and Mike. As proud owners of two naughty beagles, they're committed to creating eco-friendly and sustainable products that are kind to the environment and your furry friend. They are also strong advocates against animal testing.
With extensive experience working with dogs and a passion for conservation, Carmen and Mike bring a wealth of expertise to their work. Their love for animals and the environment is the driving force behind everything they do.
Their furry family includes Bailey, a 12-year-old rescue beagle who is a mummy's boy and a bit of a mischief-maker. Despite his epilepsy, he still loves going for wanders in the forest, but he's not too fond of the water. He might be getting older, but he still looks like a puppy!
Then there's Willow, the 1-year-old crazy loony pup who loves nothing more than playing chase with other dogs and stealing sticks. She's our chief toy tester and adores people.
Together, Carmen, Mike, Bailey, and Willow are the heart and soul of our brand, and we're thrilled to have them on our team.
Our Story.
As proud beagle parents and avid members of several beagle groups, we quickly learned that our furry friends are often used as test subjects in animal experiments. More than likely because Beagles are the ultimate foodies, with a robust physique and a lovable nature which makes them perfect for testing on, unfortunately.
Determined to give our four-legged pals the best possible care, we embarked on a quest to find household products, toiletries, make-up, and pet food that were not tested on animals. We also became passionate about conservation, climate change, and protecting the environment for future generations.
Our fur baby Bailey, a 12-year-old rescue beagle, has faced many health challenges over the years. As his devoted parents, we've spent countless hours researching what he can and cannot eat, which supplements to give him, and which chemicals to avoid. Our experiences have taught us the importance of feeding him a clean, natural diet and minimizing his exposure to toxins whenever possible.
As professional dog groomers, we noticed a significant gap in the market for eco-friendly dog products. So we decided to take matters into our own hands and create Sustainapaws. Our goal is to offer sustainable, natural, and ethical pet products that are kind to your furry friend and the planet. Plus, we promise to throw in some paw-some toy testers, like our crazy loony pup Willow, who loves playing chase with other dogs and stealing sticks!
